EPZ G20 In-Ear Monitor
Features
- Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Dome Composite Diaphragm, High-End Headphone Diaphragm Materials.
 - Alloy Casting Cavity, Ensuring Durability and High-Quality Texture.
 - The nozzle of the CHU II consists of a separate brass CNC component, offering higher precision and density.
 - CHU II incorporates a new generation of replaceable acoustic filters.
 - CHU II was tuned by senior acoustic engineers and audiophiles with rich knowledge and wide experience, and exhibits an excellent frequency response curve in line with the VDSF Target Response.
 - Ultra-low Nonlinear Distortion, Reproduction of Subtle Details
 - [1] VDSF Target Response is a target frequency response curve made based on HRTF of B&K HATS in diffusion field and ideal room preference curve. The closer the frequency response curve measured by headphones under B&K HATS is to the target frequency response curve, it can be roughly regarded that the more the headphones can restore timbre and soundstage imaging in frequency response.

RGT Rating
The EPZ Audio G20 is an excellent choice for the budget-conscious gamer who primarily uses IEMs for competitive play but still wants a versatile set for casual music listening without buying a separate headset. Its true strength lies in the comprehensive accessories package and the power of the DSP Type-C cable for achieving a competitive audio edge.
Imaging and Soundstage: 4.5/5
Exceptional performance for its class. The soundstage is noted as being wide and well-defined for an IEM. Imaging is precise, which is a critical advantage in competitive gaming (FPS) for accurately pinpointing the distance and direction of footsteps and shots.
The dedicated Type-C DSP cable further enhances spatial audio with its low-latency processing and simulated surround sound features, giving a noticeable edge in tactical games.
Sound Signature: Neutral-to-Balanced
Out of the box (3.5mm cable): It tends towards a clear, balanced, and sometimes neutral tuning, ensuring all frequencies—including critical mid-range sounds like footsteps—are present.
With the Type-C DSP Cable: The companion app allows for on-the-fly EQ adjustments with presets and custom settings. This gives users the power to tune the sound specifically for music enjoyment or to create a sharper, V-shaped profile optimized for in-game clarity.
Comfort: 4/5
The shells are made from lightweight 3D-printed resin with an ergonomic design. It is generally considered comfortable for extended gaming or listening sessions, a common benefit of well-designed resin IEM shells and the over-ear fit ensures a secure and stable wearing experience.
Versatility: 5/5
Top Tier Versatility: The inclusion of two separate high-quality cables (Type-C DSP and 3.5mm OFC) and a professional-grade detachable boom microphone is unparalleled in many IEM packages.
It is genuinely designed to switch seamlessly between: (1) Competitive Gaming (DSP), (2) Music Listening (3.5mm), and (3) Voice Calls/Streaming (Boom Mic).
The DSP's ability to save EQ settings to the cable chip means your custom tuning is portable across multiple USB-C devices.
Potential Drawbacks:
Reliance on DSP for Max Performance: While the 3.5mm cable offers great sound, the EPZ G20's "killer features" (low-latency, soundstage enhancement, and EQ) are exclusively tied to the Type-C DSP cable.
Software Dependency: Using the companion app to adjust the EQ/settings is mandatory to unlock the full potential of the gaming cable.
Aesthetics: The shell design, while ergonomic, might be considered slightly less discreet than some other single-DD IEMs.
