The original Wooting 60HE set a new standard when it launched three years ago. Since then, we’ve refined every part of the design. The 60HE v2 introduces a stronger chip, a durable aluminium housing, and a range of improvements that elevate both the typing feel and sound.

The Wooting 60HE v2 is an analog keyboard in a 60% layout that uses hall effect sensors to register exactly how far a key is pressed down, which unlocks a range of features that provide more in game control and lower input latency.

Features

Split- or regular spacebar layout

The split-spacebar option offers added control and flexibility for users who want more functionality in their layout. Those who prefer a classic setup can still choose the standard single-spacebar configuration.

Rapid Trigger

Experience the best implementation of Rapid Trigger by its original inventors, giving you a real competitive edge in gaming.

Adjustable actuation

You decide how far a key needs to be pressed down for it to activate. Configurable per key in 0.1mm steps, from 0.1mm up to 4.0mm.

True 8kHz Polling

An upgraded chip delivers consistent input response of roughly 0.125 ms. It supports genuine 8 kHz polling, with the entire keyboard scanning at that same frequency in full synchronization.

Tachyon mode

Turn on Tachyon mode to prioritize keyboard scanning over RGB effects. Turn on Tachyon mode to enable True 8kHz Polling.

Lekker Tikken switches

Hot swappable, closed bottom switches with a full 4mm actuation range and long spring for extra control. The Lekker Tikken switch sounds slightly muted, and deeper than most other Hall effect switches.

Durability

Because of the high durability of the keyboard, Wooting offers a 4-year warranty.

Standard 60% form factor

The PCBA is compatible with most third party cases, so customize to your own liking.

Bottom case dampening

The Wooting 60HE v2 has a silicone layer by default that can be swapped out with an EPDM foam layer, or removed completely to obtain different sound profiles.

FR4 plate

The FR4 plate offers a mix of stiffness and controlled flex. Its rigidity keeps keystrokes steady and reduces unwanted bounce, which helps maintain precision during gameplay. It also produces a soft, muted tone with a warm, woody character.

Interchangeable strap mounts

The Wooting strap has become a recognizable part of many builds, but the 60HE v2 now includes both strap and no-strap mounting options, giving users the freedom to choose the look they prefer.

PET film layer

An added PET film layer, positioned beneath the switches, softens sharper frequencies and helpscreate a cleaner, more marbly overall sound profile.

Friction fit

The friction-fit pad keeps the PCBA firmly in place without the need for screws. This reduces vibration and case resonance, resulting in a smoother feel and a deeper, cleaner sound. Not all 60% cases fit the friction fit pad.
